In 2020, the international breeders' organisation Fleuroselect celebrated its 50th anniversary. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, it was not possible at that time to celebrate this anniversary in a fitting manner and to look back on the successes of the decades. The original plan was to present a re-launch of the logo in the anniversary year, but this was postponed until 2022. In this blog post, we give our readers an insight into the logo development.

We had received the briefing that the new logo should visualise the current and future goals and at the same time create a reference to the success story of the organisation. As an associate member of Fleuroselect, we were delighted to have the opportunity to design the new Fleuroselect logo.

The new logo creates a strong link to the roots of this unique organisation and clearly demonstrates Fleuroselect's commitment to being an international partner for the entire world of breeding, today and in the future. This new "corporate visual identity" symbolises the idea that breeding is one of the driving forces of the industry and the source of innovation.

The slogan "The heartbeat of the flowering world" creates a link to all areas of activity of the member companies. It has been possible to unite companies in generative and vegetative breeding under one logo and at the same time combine tradition and modernity.

This has been achieved by using the existing colour palette of the previous logo and the geometric shapes. The visualisation of the globe creates the connection to the worldwide activity of Fleuroselect.

Each member received the logo in valuable acrylic glass during the anniversary conference to be able to present it in their own business premises.

Should you also want to "set off" for a product line or even for your company with a new or changed logo, we are always happy to have a conversation with you about it.
